I am a minority myself, and don't think the major turnout by the african-american community was because they agreed w/Obama on the issues [like what issues does he stand for?]. I think they were attracted with the idea he was the first true black [well 50%] in this recent history.
Not to mention he always got a free pass from the media [I mean the media was ready to fling dirt on Palin's pregnant daughter and Joe the Plummer's financial issues, and of course quickly denouncing that New Yorker magazine cartoon showing Michele Obama dressed as a militant]. That plus McCain clearly threw the election w/one poor choice [Palin and always praising Obama even though he's the opponent] after another, not to mention an uninspiring campaign [of course McCain gives a grand concession speech at the end after he lost].
I was disappointed when Powell threw his support behind Obama, any respect I had for him went out the window after that. And finally about other prominent blacks: Clarence Thomas or Condy Rice - has the media ever given them praise? - Oh that's right, they are conservative, so they don't count. Obama's a different story because he is of their ideology...Well that's all for now. Clearly the media got what it wanted - a president based on no issues other than race and unknown policies.

I personally don't like Obama's policies or aleged ones. But I'll give him a year to see if he lives up to all the many, many promises he's made. But I don't see how he won because of the economy, as the economy was way beyond repair-ability by either him or McCain.
Also IF [the rumors about] the youth and the 'race' vote that voted for Obama basically for his carisma and because he's half black, I'm sorry but they have no right to vote at all. One should vote for a candidate based on issues, not because of race or the guy's a great speaker.
So I'm sorry if I sound blunt here, but these are just my opinion and take note I don't hate Obama and I'm hoping he fixes Bush's mess, but I don't think he'd have been any different than McCain. Perhaps Biden as VP is better than Palin as VP, I'll give you that, but Obama and McCain were both terrible choices.

universal studios - did most of the attractions MIB etc. and the new roller coaster Revenge of the Mummy - nice short coaster lots of turns and an unexpected backwards drop and launch

islands of adventure - rode the dueling dragons 1 each and later walked back to the Hulk coaster rode that 2 times - the best part was the launch and the loops
rode the spiderman ride
rode the dueling dragons again ice 2nd row and fire waited 30min but rode the very front of the train and in the dark = extra exciting

8-16 thurs
animal kingdom - rode the safari thing and took a few pics; then got fast pass for the everest coaster; rode the Dinosaur ride twice and the crazy mouse type ride later; finally came back to the everest thing and got to ride it twice since my mom and dad won't ride it. And of course got the video of it from the FRONT SEAT!MGM - saw the lights camera stunts show = fantastic; later as i was almost going to wait on the normal line, some guy gave me his fast pass for the rock n roller coaster [no idea, but eh worked out as i didn't have to wait on the line] later on rather than to go on the tower of terror - i decided to just go back to the roller coaster and waited on the single rider line. then caught that fantasmic show that nearly 10,000+ ppl seemingly showed up for [insanely packed place w/room left only for standies = not fun]

went to Universal Studios 1st - and rode the Revenge of the Mummy - single rider and other than the long walk i had no major waiting time and walked right on in basically - just as fun as the 1st time
then went to the MIB ride - single riders and i got in w/out much waiting 1st time got like 69,000, sat on the left ride and the avg was like 142,000. 2nd time i went on it = 75,000 sat on the right ride and the avg was like 65,000 = so either only the left side is always the winner [rigged ride] or the shooters on the right just sucked anus [well the one on the right that i rode on had a bunch of moms and kids so i lose there]
islands of adventure - rode the Hulk coaster once despite the 20min wait plus the mechanical problems so my wait was like 30min
rode the spiderman ride
rode the Hulk coaster waited 30min but rode the very front of the train and in the dark = extra exciting

Busch Gardens TB - rode something called the phoenix which was like a swinging boat that also loops upside down, a crazy mouse like coaster and a mini coaster [compared to the ones i ride now] that had a loop and a few spirals
rode the Kumba which remarkable is similar to the Hulk coaster except it has a traditional chain-car catcher [rather than the launching as on the hulk]
rode the Montu [egypt area] roller coaster 3 strait times - it had lots of loops and turns and i would say more like the Dueling Dragons if those two coasters were combined as one continuous track
later rode the Gwazi [wooden roller coaster] a choice of either white tiger or lion [i chose the tiger - and for some reason it had a shorter waiting time than lion] though both are like the same, this is sorta like the wooden coaster version of the dueling dragons and the ride was really choppy, but no real steep drops like that on the cyclone
by this time i rode most of the major coasters 3/4 [i would never ride the Sheikra - the steep 200 ft 90 degree strait plunge to the bottom, well not yet anyway]
finally late at night near closing time went back on the Kumba 2 more times and still pretty neat [even kept my arms up for the picture]

sea world: rode the kraken 3 strait times - despite the size, it wasn't that bad and 2nd time sat in the 2nd row and kept my arms up in the air rather than to touch the handle bars on my shoulder restraints. it is sorta like the floorless coaster version of the montu coaster i rode yesterday being about that long

Sea World: watched a whale and dolphin show; rode the Kraken 2 strait times; rather than ride it a 3rd time, i went to ride the Atlantis ride [sorta like splash mountain] - got wet, but not too bad and the drop was okhighlight of the day [aside from riding some kiddie rides] was the Shamu shows - gave my alpha a good work out

WDW: Epcot - single rider rode Test Track 3 times and video recorded it; to the Land to see soarin [over CA]; living seas w/nemo
Magic Kingdom: thunder mt, waited like 40-50min for Splash mt [1st time i rode it in like 5 years or such] and got the front seat and braving the Atlantis ride the day b4, i figure how scary can it be and 5 yrs was a long time to get over a fear - so i rode it and the plunge wasn't all that bad and the ride overall was pretty long and nice especially the water so i got wet and it was worth the wait

Well one day b4 my birthday i pretty much celebrated in style by playing softball despite me being out of shape being not enough exercise.
We play this 1 batter = plays 3 outs [any hits, go and bat again w/the ghost runner in place and advancing only one bag in front of the pace hit by the next turn] and the other team is 4 outfeilders and one pitcher. So i did well getting 2 runs and a double and singles.
For the real games, i also got a hit, but in that inning only 1 scored and i ended up striking out the last out becuase i was just exhasted beyond my limits. Also played 1st base [Andy Phillips - harharhar] so i made a few good defensive plays, but i came w/in inches of getting a key out by tagging the bag w/my glove [landing on the f'in sand] but for nothing. the other team ended up scoring like 10 runs and blew the game open there. I eventually slip up and let a ball get past me for a single. It seemed i was making all the plays while the ball didn't go to the other side being lf and 3rd base or cf and 2nd base.
So we called the game at 2nd inning at 11-3 final.

We then packed up everything and headed over for the party. It was great, so many memorable moments. i'll leave it at that.

Stargate SG-1 Series Finale June 22

Yeah I know way late by like 2 weeks now, but the feeling hasn't really set in yet as shit, I love that show to death and was far better than any other shit airing on TV right now. Fuck Sci-fi for ending it. Atlantis won't be the same w/out the SG-1 as its lead in show.

So I've been making various comments on the youtube pages, after loading my Vegas videos, and such as the following in no logical sense, order, or other manner:
[[I thought the Asgard sent 2 o'neill class cruisers so wouldn't those be their 'best warships'. But yeah I would assume the new beam was likely an upgrade over the one used in the supergate battle. A shame they didn't have a fleet ready to fight off a few of those ori ships. even though blowing up their own planet likely took out the other 2 ships nearby.
I'll miss the asgard, they were the only ones that helped sg-1. The Nox are pacifists, ancients punish their own for helping, and where the hell are the furlings? i kinda agree they maybe those cloud like ppl as seen on that episode Crystal Skull

For season 2 the newest ship Daedalus brought Atlantis the ZPM Sg-1 stole from Ra in ancient egypt to give atlantis the power for the sheild. then after the replicators took over atlantis and were destroied, Atlantis gave earth back 2 zpms one for Odyssey and the ancient outpost in Antartica.

Yes the asgard crystal is what is needed to power the upgrades. The ZPM mainly provides the cloak and power for the time dialation thing. And Odyssey has Atlantis’s ZPM. Atlantis used up earth’s ZPM when McKay sent back the alternate dimension version of himself back to his reality.

Two ZPM’s were from the replicators, the 3rd one was actually from the ancient’s ship the Tria.

So pretty much other than that I'll look forward to the 2 SG-1 movies and of course season 4 of Atlantis and Amanda Tapping aka: Sam Carter as the new leader of Atlantis.
I've been reading Stargate forums saying how they hate this idea of Col. Carter replacing Dr. Weir = SG-1 continuing on in Atlantis and taking away their spotlight to give SG-1 more favoritism. Well all that is a bunch of shit: SG-1 started Atlantis and besides the real leaders of atlantis are Dr. Mckay and Col Sheppard - basically Dr. Weir is just a figurehead and nothing more. Col. Carter at least gives a ground for both sides as a scientist and for the military, so I think she'll fit in nicely. Obviously as long as the rest of the cast gets normal air time and Carter is mostly in the background and not in the spotlight, I can deal w/that.

So that's all on Stargate for now.

Las Vegas trip from June 9-17

Anyways a great trip again, although I've said I'd give the blackjack tables a try, i ended up only playing the slot machines/video poker ones. Did get lucky at the MGM Grand by putting in a $1 for a nickel video 'slot machine' and getting a special 'free spins' bonus and in the end won $41.75. I cashed it out and also won at most $5 at a few other places after that and lost maybe $25-30 overall [net win maybe $20 overall] So I used my winnings to pay for my all day passes for the Adventure dome at Circus Circus [rode that coaster there 13 times overall] and the other coaster at NYNY $25 for an all day pass on the Manhattan express- that also 13 times including 2 rides in the front and back of the train and the front of the train was fucking awesome, the back well it was like double the force compared to sitting in the middle. 12 times i rode during the day when it wasn't crowded and at night it was mad crowded but i showed my receipt and got the front and the night was pretty awesome. Also went up the Paris hotel's effiel tower and the views were fantastic especially the 2nd time going to the top for teh night shots. Also saw several of the Bellagio fountain shows - especially the all important vids of tehm which will go up on youtube also by the end of the week. finally early in the trip went on a bus tour of the Grand Canyon [southern portion] and got to see the magnificence of the park and also saw the Grand canyon train [didn't get to ride it]. Also went over the Hover Dam and it was also pretty nice. So pretty much I did everything I wanted to do and still manage to earn a few extra $

Nothing much these past few months. just being a lazy ass and such. Anyway not much other than my dog biting my hands a lot as well as my ankles. Seems like I'll have to call in Ceasar Millan to train him or something.
Also on the net nothing new like at Strappies bunch of stupid n00bs taken over the place answering stupidly or asking stupid questions. Subcrap w/their random flame wars and for some reason some thought i was posting under 2 handles - which yes looks suspicious, but it was indeed a 'friend', which i've told to bug off when i was getting attacked for it. but eh so long as that's over w/the status quo is returned w/attacks on a radical la poster and some kid from LI that got stopped by some cops - basically enough distractions to take away attention from me.

Anyway my 'friend' was really a younger cousin of mine whom I'm not letting anyone know of especially in light of how an asian kid called error r46 [he hates R46's as much as a guy called lex hates R32's] had his image 'tagged' and labled him a derogitory asian slur [equivalent to the n word]. needless to say "Q35" won't post anymore unless i want to use it for myself. Basically finished a great week off from school from Monday [1 week ago] going to the circus at MSG which wasn't too bad for $5, sleeping most of the week and catching up on misc stuff at home, capped off w/a fantastic day at coney island w/a trip on the cyclone and the wonder wheel and bumper cars w/friends.

Oh yes the biggest one of all - I finally beat GTA San Andreas, but I still would love to steal the Swat tank. I just wished that spawned more often as it is an awesome tank.

Anyways i'm totally refreshed after a stressful week of school and now i have to face school again so my 1 week oasis ends.

On a sad note a good friend died over the weekend and even in death a few assholes on the chat site he frequented still had to be asses about fear of surgery or saying how it would be had a lesser known person died. really sickening. Well so far as the funeral goes, although i want to go tomorrow - i can't due to schedule conflicts. so my prayers goes out to him.

Ohhh boy i just got back from Chinatown today to watch the new year's parade and DN sponsored Pig race and since my dad drove and I just wanted to kill time from home - i figure what the fuck, well i shoud've stayed home as on Mott b/w hester and Canal => absolute chaos as the fuckers behind me refused to go in one direction = clash and shoving. It got so bad they threatened to shove those of us in front thru the baracades to get thru - the cops refused to open them and I guess they started to shove ppl in one direction to clear things up. This bitch behind me kept putting her hand on my shoulder for balance and I kept telling her to get the hell off of me. Anyways making matters worse was this photographer who was supposed to be taking pics of the festivities decided to either run a smear peice on the NYPD as a typical 'liberal/opportunist' or decided that this would make a good article - so not much i could do [thankfully had my sunglasses on so my identity would be somewhat safe] except to take a pic of her. which i did save. :sigh: so if I get angry for no reason/snap suddenly, don't take it personally. ..

Love this game, played it yesterday for a few hours and [Vice City] can't believe how easy some of the missions were taht caused me to be stuck on them for like a year [stopped playing VC cuz of that and SA came out]. Didn't do much other than to rearrange my cars in all the garages and puttin the police cars [Swat truck, FBI rancher, Police Cheetah] in the big one that has a helipad on top.

SA - speaking of which I just uploaded some vids there, shitty quality since I recorded from the tv. I must get those video cards they call it to transfer directly to the pc.

There are more leaders that fought for Civil Rights than just MLK, why should he be the only one getting a day for himself if Washington and Lincoln has to share their days w.41 other presidents?Basically he fought for civil rights, but he is not the only one who did. On the 7 train whinners this weekend 2/17-19/07
These ppl whining about the loss of the 7 are all weaklings - at least the 7 is going to 74th allowing transfer to the E/F/R lines, shuttle buses are running. So it is not like they have no options. I wonder if they don't care the 7 runs to the ground just so they can have those few weeks of 7 now when if the 7 left to decay would take months-years to repair.
Are these are teh same ppl that cries foul over getting 2nd hand R62A cars?

Damn I haven't posted anything for a while. Laziness on my part then there's also classes and such so meh. So I'm back w/a vengence.

subway stuff:
1]If you want 8th Av service down Culver what you could do is have the E/F switch so the E goes down Culver and the F to WTC. Do the same for the C/V so the V runs local on Fulton and the C ending at 2nd Av w/possible extentions to Church Av.
2]It would make sense as it would allow the A/C to swap cars w/out problems. So they run C's on longer headways if they keep the total amount of cars for the c the same.ex: 240 cars for the C is now 30 8-car trains. Then when it is 10-car trains there would be 24 trains. I dunno, that's what i guess.Personally it would be better if the C was 10-cars long so I wouldn't have to run for it at 34th or such as it is 1 car off from the stairwell I just entered from.
3]C/E swaps with V/F respectively
F to WTC
E to Ci via Culver
V to Euclid via Fulton local
C to 2nd Av via current V route

C having 8 cars and M having 8 cars could combine into one line now that the C is shortened to only 2nd Av. Combined fleet is mostly R38/R32 and R42.

4] on Iraq - What should've been done was divide iraq into the 3 major groups - give them fare share of the oil and let them kill each other if they want. 5] on Giuliani - As liberal as he is he takes blue states like PA, NY, CA for the GOP and if he can win a few of th red states he'll beat the Democratic candidate.I personally don't like Giuliani, but sadly he is the only one capable of taking away blue states for the GOP and has a better shot than other GOP candidates. Romney - nope, Tancredo [i like, but realistically can't win sadly], McCain at best is a VP to Giuliani so he could balance Giuliani's social liberal stance.
In NYC he had to be liberal in a Democratic city otherwise how else could he had won more than one term?Now that he has a broader base he doesn't have to cater to the liberals. At least he did something for the city. What has Hillary done in her years as senator besides using NY as a platform for her candidacy?
6] on Bush - Boarders wide open, sending 20,000 more soldiers to the slaughter house - seems like Bush wants to bring the mexicans in to displace the soldiers fighting over there. yeah great man Bush is.
Why not keep those 20,000 here to shore up the boarders and kick out every illegal alien first while sending in planes to bomb the hell out of the towel head scum in iraq.

Eh, if anyone reads this, Yes I am in a bitter mood today. I can't explain it, but probably because it was so cold outside and I'm coughing uncontrollably. So if anyone is wondering why I'm so angry like - I apologize in advance.

I'll add to my black humor regarding the Palistinians vs. Israel: [I don't make any promises about making sense, just to piss ppl off]
They should've just annexed those lands and throw out all the palistinians. Use the annexed lands as border states or buffers from the palistinians.Also add a final insult - get rid of tht mosque in jerusalem and rebuild the temple to its former glory.

Why bother the rednecks? When you got prisoners here in this country that you can ship over to the Palistinian area and give them guns and knives and tell them to kill a towel head for freedom from their cells. Fight for their own feedom or jail - not a hard choice. They'll likely be fighting the palistinians for control anyway what worse can they be? The palistinians are already pissed off, nothing's gonna change it. At least the Israelies would be justified.

Took a few days off, 24 was great, pity they killed off the character Curtis. Suitcase nuke detonated - nice.
Saw another hybrid on the Q35 3576 so looks like now either the O5's are now for only the express lines or they have started to retire some of the RTS's - oh well at least I usually get the bus on the extreme ends so i won't have to stand much. I still hate the Hybrids for the fewer seats.

Out for a walk

Walking my dog out today and I saw not one but 2 hybrids running on the Q35 today - probably both just testing, but luckily I had my camera on me so I got pics of them.

Anyway we were on our way home when I saw this dog in the yard that wanted to sniff my dog. I'm thinking one harmless pic can't hurt, but no the old bitch of an owner comes out and asks [either jokingly or bitterly - likely the latter] about me taking pics of her dog. I respond no and she still went on about it - I left as the old bitch then goes on about yelling at her dog to get back inside. I felt sorry for her dog as it has to put up w/her. Yeah like that old hag takes her dog out at all. Excuse me for actually socializing my dog, I thought her dog could use some real company.

1st Blog for me, yeah I'm a noob at this. Oh well I start off short - been a long break and all finals over 3 weeks ago and passed them all getting A's and B's. A big turnaround from my time in Stony Brook where I crashed and burned big time.

I am unashamed of being conservative on most social issues: Pro death penalty, anti-abortions [unless the mother's life is in danger or rape or if the mother can't even provide proper care for it], don't believe in 'Global warming', etc.

I do however believe the war in Iraq has gone on too long and more troops is not the answer. Let Iran invade Iraq, the Sunnis are already attacking the Shiites [however it is spelt] at least that way the Iraqies will then be unified against Iran and no more Americans will die in this unCivil war.

For now that's pretty much all for this post.

Anyway part 2, I have a wonderful dog, a beagle named Charlie, he is 7months old and just a joy to have. Although he bites a lot - sometimes pretty hard on my arm, he can still be a lot of fun. He's also pretty strong at 40lbs - all muscle and can throw me off balance when I walk him.

To go on further about the death penalty: My rather "Modest Proposal idea" is a bit insane, but still an exercise in thinking; I always did get a chuckle over the Modest Proposal by Johnathan Swift.

How about sending deathrow inmates over to Iraq?
Afterall they are going to be executed and may as well be put to good use there. Think about it, if our soldiers are being sent to the slaughter house then why not put the death row inmate to the front row 1st?
Yeah like a person that killed 20 ppl [proven by dna testing] still deserves to live while 20 families are left w/out their mother, father, children. Yeah sure they deserve to live.
But rather than give them US weapons, give them the AK47s and such and have them raid terrorist hideouts for more ammo. Hey they love killing at least if they die then no one will mourn their losses.

Few more points - Bush's handling of the war has caused excessive spending = printing of money like just ppr. = decrease in value, the Euro and other currencies are far more worth compared to the dollar. Some say the reason the US went to war on Iraq was due to Saddam's conversion from the dollar to the Euro - looks like it is false as this war has made the Euro that much more an attractive alternative.

I want my oil from Iraq to justify the costs of spending hundreds of billions there. If they are so 'grateful' for being freed from his Tyrany, then why is the US still footing the bill when we can use their oil fields to pay for their own freedoms? And why did the gas prices not drop when we invaded? War for oil - sure I'm still paying more even though Iraq is the 3rd richest oil nation in the world behind Saudi Arabia and Iran.
